A project of Eszter Bodnár, associate professor of ELTE Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Law, financed by the Premium postdoctoral grant of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences / Eötvös Loránd Research Network (2018-2022).
The project aims to create methodological standards for judges on how to use comparative law in constitutional adjudication. The results of the project will be published in an upcoming monograph.
The project is based on the empirical analysis of three different types of courts, including the collection and coding of their decisions citing foreign law. This webpage is a supplement to the monograph, sharing the empirical data collected during the research project. The explanation for the research question and methods will be available in the monograph.
